More About Me
I am a 53 year old design draftsman by trade originally from Portland, Maine and raised in Massachusetts.  I am very grateful for the opportunities I have had to experience things that a lot of people don't even dream about.  I have traveled all over the United States, Canada and Mexico.  I have piloted numerous aircraft including a Russian Yak-18 and a Beechcraft Twin.  I am an accomplished cook and bartender having gone to school for bar-tending at a very reputable institution.
I have always enjoyed learning, I never shy away from learning something new.  I would like to go back to school 1 more time to further my design education taking courses that weren't a part of the original curriculum.  I would like to be able to create 3-Dimensional images to enhance the ideas put forth in engineering drawings.
I am an avid sports fan, especially when it comes to the Redsox and the Patriots.  I thrive on competition, although not to extremes.  Competition always makes you step up and give 110% and I apply this to everyday life.  I have played on  tournament softball teams, a senior league baseball team and a company golf team.  I am a past Connecticut State Olympics Bowling Champion and participated in the Hartford Pro-Am Bowlers Classic.  I believe that after football there is nothing until baseball, this time was created for hibernation and rejuvenation.
My favorite job was driving tour bus.  I enjoy visiting and exploring new places and being around people and this job afforded that ten times over.  That being said, I really enjoy my current profession.  It allows me to actually see my imagination become a reality.  I have been a part  of a lot of great design projects, working with some really talented engineers.
I have held a lot of jobs and positions over the course of my life.  I have design drafting experience, worked construction framing houses, masonry, laying brick and forming small concrete projects,  automotive mechanics, bar-tending, cooking, carpentry and a few more.  Learning from each occupation, I really like the fact that I can fix, draw, or build almost anything I want.  There is a satisfaction you get from having the knowledge to do-it-yourself and having it come out right.
Diverse, creative and energetic person who thrives in a team atmosphere and continually exceeds expectations.
