Career Accomplishments:

Increased production 100% while reducing cost of direct labor from 69% to 23% over a 2 month period. Reduced direct cost of material by 12% over the same period by identifying additional reclaimable parts, developing and implementing processes to reclaim these parts working closely with engineering, quality and safety departments. Authored 6 process changes that are currently being used and are authorized by Chrysler.

Recruited a chemical engineering firm and co-authored an on-site dredge material management plan associated with a proposed combination private condominium, retail store, marina land redevelopment project, drastically reducing the overall long-term development costs associated with the transportation and disposal of the dredge material and the import of approved fill material.

Successfully led engineers, technicians, and office personnel through a complete manufacturing process changeover to the Kan-Ban System of Manufacturing. Designed and implemented color-coded assembly station parts bin labeling system for assembly technicians including a complete matching color-coded Exploded Isometric Assembly manual for each of the four (4) lines of production and trained the assembly technicians on the new system.Managed an 8 person transition team to review all engineering documentation and processes.

Established a complete electronic based drafting department upgrading from a board generated system that was in place, cutting drafting times by two thirds and increasing design accuracy.
